1. Humor and playfulness.
Helps me to connect both with people I don’t know very well, and with people I do. Lets me be open to new experiences even if there’s a high probability of failure or looking silly.
2. Honesty, authenticity, and genuineness.
This is the hardest one for me to see the value in, because I don’t understand what it would be like to not be this way. Makes my compliments more powerful because people know that I wouldn’t say it if I didn’t believe it. It helps me be open to new people, and to accept them as they want to be seen.
3. Appreciation of beauty.
This allows me to find happiness and beauty in the smallest and most everyday things. It opens up so many avenues for joy to enter my life.
4. Love of learning.
This one enables me to be genuinely interested in other people’s lives, stories and interests. It also enables me to keep discovering new interests and skills.
5. Bravery and valor.
This is the strength and ability to protect the people I love, and to tell people that what they’re saying is offensive / hurtful. It also let’s me continue with things that may be scary to me.
